Alhaji Yaya Zakori – Fushien Kububua
So this is part-whatever in my ongoing obsession with music from northern Ghana. After a long while of admiring this tape I only just (like a few moments ago) realized this guy is probably the same as this gentlemen of an earlier post, with a slightly tweaked spelling. Do you see a resemblance? Looks kinda like the same guy, only on this cover he is wearing a hounds tooth shirt (instead of the cool jacket) with a tape cover design spiked with Islam green. Whatever the case, this to me sounds like nothing short of a thump-y beat trance manifesto in lo-fi.
