Jess Sah Bi & Peter One—Our Garden Needs Its Flowers

Face A

Face B
Our Garden Needs Its Flowers
African Chant

Buy this shit on iTunes/Amazon because it's amazing that cats are making straight up country music in Cote D'Ivoire. My man Marco Werman came across these guys back in the 80s, but I have not heard anything else about them.

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! I bought a pirated CD of this album in Ouagadougou last summer, but some of the tracks are scrambled. This is an amazing record! So happy to hear it in its entirety!
Would happily buy this album if it were for sale. If anyone knows where to purchase it (or - if not -if anyone has a link), please let me know. Thanks.
You can buy this on iTunes. I was thrilled to find it there.
I remember this being played and played in Togo in the late 80s.

They were a favorite of Peace Corps Volunteers in Togo in the mid-80s
Just so you know, Peter One actually has a website : http://www.peterone.net/, including details from his latest album Messo. No idea how to purchase though, couldn't find it at the site (the fact it was in French didn't help me)
I loved this Cassette too in the late 80ies. I bought it in Lome but it could be heard all over Westafrica. As far as I remember there was a second Tape around, partly same tracks. My old one can not be played anymore Think of how the streetstore looked like. The tapes had to stand a lot of Heat and humidity. Very pleased to know there are still fans of these times and sound. I used to call them the african Crosby & Nash. Greetings from Germany. M.
Where can i find this LP? It's no longer on itunes except for one song from it. I can't seem to find it anywhere else online either, not ebay or amazon.
Someone have to rerelease this.
The CD is available at Amazon. Tracks can also be downloaded from Amazon.
I have the LP but haven't yet got around to playing it. If it is as good as their first two cassettes then it should be absolute magic. Try www.natari.com
